Honorary Doctorate conferred on Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini in Finland
On 20th May, Prof. Boccaccini (Head Institute of Biomaterials, WW7) was conferred the title of Honorary Doctor of Philosophy at Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland.
The Honorary Doctor degree is in recognition of his successful research in biomaterials and his collaboration with Åbo Akademi University. Specifically, Boccaccini serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for BioCity Turku and is engaged in close collaboration with Åbo Akademi University, specially with the Johan Gadolin Process Chemistry Centre.
